Personal Art
WORK: Oil & Acrylic / Digital Illustration
I love creative challenges and find the stumbles of self-teaching to be extremely rewarding. A fan of skateboard art, I taught myself illustration and eventually started my own skateboard label, Uniongas, out of a Brooklyn apartment in the early 2000s. That grew into a full rider team, tours, a large southeast fan base when we relocated to Atlanta, and even some decent magazine coverage before calling it quits in 2005.
Since then, I’ve learned to paint. Starting with oil and moving to acrylic, I have been fortunate enough to have been accepted in to multiple gallery shows. Most recently, I revisited a love for poetry from my youth, spent several months writing, and self published a chapbook with Barnes & Noble titled Of Death.
